Centene Center for Health Transformation鈩� is a community-industry-academic healthcare partnership that advances people centered health solutions to improve lives so that communities can thrive.

The Center for Advancing Health Services, Policy & Economics Research advances evidence-based research to improve health and work with policy makers and public health leaders to drive more equitable health policy.

The Washington University Center for Diabetes Translation Research (WU-CDTR) is the intellectual home to an outstanding network of investigators conducting cutting-edge research on the root causes of diabetes inequities.

At the Center for Dissemination and Implementation we advance the growing body of Dissemination & Implementation (D&I) research methods by building training opportunities and catalyzing newly applied D&I research across health specialties.

Human rights violations and forced displacement affect millions of individuals around the globe. Failure to account for gendered aspects of violence in these contexts continues. Our Center for Human Rights, Gender & Migration bridges research, policy, and practice to improve evidence-based response to serious human rights abuses.

The mission of the Center for Obesity Prevention and Policy Research (COPPR) is to improve the health of underserved populations by engaging in trans-disciplinary research that discovers new science and integrates it into policies designed to prevent obesity and diabetes.

Our mission at the Center for Public Health Systems Science (CPHSS) is to change systems to create healthier communities through research, evaluation, and translation.

The mission of the Center for Violence and Injury Prevention (CVIP) is to promote healthy young families and healthy young adults by advancing evidence-based violence prevention through a range of education, research, and training activities.

Data Science for Social Impact (DSSI) is an initiative that builds data capacity and collaboration among St. Louis social sector organizations working to increase impact for and with the communities they serve.

The Division of Public Health Sciences broadens the scope of population-based research at the Washington University School of Medicine by providing a platform for our investigators from multiple disciplines to collaborate on projects that affect strategies in clinical care and outcomes.

The Health Communication Research Laboratory (HCRL) at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis seeks to eliminate health disparities by increasing the reach and effectiveness of health information to low-income and minority populations.

As the healthcare and life sciences fields shift toward transdisciplinary and data-intensive research, the Institute for Informatics (I2) provides an academic and professional home for informatics science and practice. I2 engages in innovative research, workforce development and informatics service delivery.

Prevention Research Center (PRC) researchers conduct and share research on physical activity, policy, the built environment, and the translation of evidence into public health practice, while placing particular emphasis on vulnerable populations.

The power of data has long been a cornerstone of public health efforts to prevent disease, promote health and inform equitable policies and programs. Our Public Health Data & Training Center works across disciplines and with community partners to promote actionable and effective uses of data to advance population health.

SMART Africa Center strives to reduce gaps in child and adolescent mental health services and research in Sub Saharan Africa through a population approach to child mental health.

The Social Policy Institute (SPI) is a university-wide initiative dedicated to addressing pressing social issues through transdisciplinary empirical research, dissemination of evidence-informed policy, and training.

The Social System Design Lab (SSDL) advances the science and application of system dynamics in organizations and communities. The SSDL specializes in developing participatory methods and workshops for engaging communities and organizations to design innovative solutions in complex social systems using causal maps and formal models with computer simulation.
