Devices Supported

Supports virtually any Twinax-attached terminal, although for the later models not all features are supported (such as shared addressing, mouse support, imaging, etc.). Supports all Twinax printers (both SCS and IPDS).

Important Note Regarding IPDS Printers: The PSF/400 option must be installed on the host for the e-Twin@x Controller to be able to work with IPDS printers. When configuring any IP-attached IPDS printer in the e-Twin@x Controller Configurator, the AFP parameter in the device description must be set to *YES. Because the e-Twin@x Controller works as pure TCP/IP controller, the IPDS printer attached to the Controller will also be configured as an IP-attached printer. In this case the Controller emulates the behavior of the network printer against the AS/400. As a result, the Controller always creates the printer device description with AFP(*YES). This configuration environment requires that PSF/400 (Print Services Facility for AS/400) be installed on the host. Supports all PCs with TDLC emulation and BOS, IBM or IBM-compatible ISA emulation cards.
